Kathleen Brennan

Kathleen Brennan passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024 with loving members of her family by her side at Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River, New Jersey. She was born July 22, 1930 in the Bronx to Bridget and John Brennan. Kathleen attended St. Jerome’s and St. Luke’s grammar schools and then went on to graduate from Aquinas High School in the Bronx. Going forward she worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for forty four years. She was an active member of St. Brendan’s Parish in the Mosholu section of the Bronx for 57 years where she had so many friends and loved it so. Kathleen loved to travel and so did her friends. They were a great group and true blue friends. Finally Kathleen left the Bronx and moved into Brightview Senior Living at Lake Tappan in Orangeburg, N.Y. where she enjoyed five wonderful years with the greatest staff. How happy we were to have her so close to us and enjoy her new home. She felt the comfort and care from a warm and loving staff. Kathleen was a beautiful woman who had a good life, she was so well loved by all who met her. Her good sense of humor kept those around her laughing. Kathleen is survived by her brother John (Lorraine) of Demarest, N. J. and sister Evelyn Cahill of Pearl River, N. Y. and by seven nieces and nephews, and fourteen grand nieces and nephews. We will miss her terribly so but God has been good to us to have left her for so long. Our deepest gratitude to the Brightview Senior Living Community, Nyack Hospital Doctors and Nurses and to the Nurses at Villa Marie Claire Hospice for their tender loving care and comfort.
